We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Lombard, Illinois, United States. This role revolves around managing vendor requests and relationships, supporting vendor management initiatives, and maintaining data integrations in the telecom industry. Responsibilities:• Oversee daily operations of the Vendor Request desk, ensuring correct forms and documents are submitted by all business areas• Support vendor management initiatives to streamline active vendors without compromising operational agility• Establish and foster relationships with general managers, location admins/support staff, and corporate department heads to ensure adherence to vendor creation processes• Collaborate with the procurement department to authorize, categorize, and track active vendors• Manage periodic vendor merge/purge process to maintain an efficient active vendor list• Support master data integrations, including users, approval levels, vendors, customers, cost... centers, chart of accounts, between ERP and supporting systems• Generate process documentation for existing workflows and participate in future process integration and enhancement• Utilize tools such as Dun and Bradstreet to identify high-risk vendors for the organization• Administer user and workflow on software such as JD Edwards (Financial) and Basware (AP Automation)• Train new and existing locations on vendor processes/procedures/policy items• Provide support for FinTech special projects and perform other administrative/support duties as assigned
