Union Position - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview...

At Holliswood Center, we're seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Union Position. Key Responsibilities of LPN:
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients under the guidance of registered nurses and healthcare providers.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following physician orders and established protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring compliance with union regulations and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote continuity of care and ensure a positive healthcare experience.
• Adhere to all union guidelines, policies, and procedures, fostering a culture of respect, advocacy, and professionalism.

Qualifications for LPN:
• Current licensure as an LPN in the state of employment.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Proficiency in clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Commitment to upholding the principles and standards of the union, including advocating for patient rights and workplace fairness.
