Job Description

Leads Data Cleansing initiative
• Carries out analysis related to data entities in use across the applications estate and across “off system” / manual data repositories, and identifies processes that Create, Read, Update and Delete data
• Identifies detailed data integrity rules and establishes the required tooling to enable exception reporting and remediation
• Works for the Nurture Group Data Steward and Data Warehouse System Integrator to build data quality KPI’s and reporting.
• Establishes the detailed Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Data Cleansing – including environments to be used, and tools and processes used to extract data, carry out quality checks, correct exceptions, and deploy clean data within “line of business” and financial applications.
• Participates in Data Governance initiative
• Collaborates with the Nurture Group Data and Business Insights Lead and IT department to establish data retention rules for on-system and off-system data... repositories
• Collaborates with the Nurture Group Data and Business Insights Lead to maintain a corporate Data Dictionary.
• Establishes and builds any data anonymisation processes and automations that may be required for GDPR and other legislative purposes.
• Leads data migration workstream for line of business CRM (Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement) and Field Services implementation projects
• Collaborates with third party Systems Integrators, and leads all Nurture Group initiatives related to Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data from source systems and off-system data repositories onto target data structures. Leads source to target Data Mapping activities for Nurture Group and in collaboration with the relevant System Integrators. Collaborates with Nurture Group Data and Business Insights Lead and Data Owners in ensuring that any data mapping carried out is aligned with business requirements.
• Establishes the detailed ALM for Data Migration, working in collaboration with Nurture Group Business Stakeholders and Systems Integrators to source the relevant data. Establishes and leads iterative data ETL cycles and is accountable to provide the required level of migrated data in support for any project development and testing phases.
• Leads the definition and execution of Data Validation tests, in collaboration with the Data and Business Insights Lead and the relevant Data Owners. Builds any data validation reports that may be required and secures signoffs from the Data and Business Insights Lead and the relevant Data owners as part of migration trials and go-live process.
• Contributes to the definition of a detailed project plan and ensures that good practice data migration test cycles / trial migrations are implemented in line with the project plan.
• Contributes to the build and evolution of a detailed go-live implementation plan and leads data migration activities related to any go-live rehearsals that are carried out as part of the projects.
• Establishes and maintains visibility of all data cleansing and migration activities through metric-based progress reporting.
• Undertake other reasonable duties / activities outside the role.

Skills and Knowledge - Required

Business Analysis – able to analyse business processes, identify data flows, data owners and access controls, and data retention rules, identify any gaps, and establish mitigations.
• Tooling – proficient in use of the appropriate tooling:
• to establish data integrity exception reporting and programmatic remediation of any data gaps and inconsistencies in line with the implemented ALM methodology; and
• to automate data extraction and transformation from source systems to target data load formats as specified by Systems Integrators; and
• where required, to develop data validation checks to support data migration signoffs by the Data and Business Insights Lead and Data Owners.
• Fully conversant with GDPR requirements.
• Data Analysis – adept at analysing data, identifying patterns, and drawing meaningful insights to support data cleanse and data migration activities.
• Data Quality Management – able to formulate data quality and integrity checks.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and quality in all data cleanse and data migration activities.
• Communication: able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in the Microsoft ERP stack, especially Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

Skills and Knowledge - Desirable
• Experienced and knowledgeable in Verizon Connect product

Location: Hybrid working – Windlesham office (3d/week)
