About The... Facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About The Role

The Project Manager is a key member of the People and Culture team in leading the Electronic Rostering project of Optima across Barwon Health. This project is a multi-phased implementation with key deadlines. The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating effective collaboration with multiple business stakeholders across Barwon Health, SWARH technical teams, the vendor. The Project Manager will ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget and that the benefits are realised.

About You
• You will bring 10+ years of Project Manager experience, having previously matured an organisations approach to the delivery of IT projects.
• You will have an ability to work autonomously, self-manage and prioritise work to ensure the provision of quality and timely products and services.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment to diagnose and collaboratively develop solutions, make operational decisions and provide clear, consistent and fair advice that enables informed decision making.
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to communicate to a diverse audience and influence business outcomes.
• An ability to work flexibly with tight timeframes, in a high paced changing environment with changing business priorities.
