Customer service is an essential component in making Ashwood Designs a success, and we are currently looking for an individual who can work within the Transport and Customer Sales team.

You will be joining a busy office where teamwork is essential, and where organisation is key to meeting customer demands.

The day-to-day tasks include:

· Booking in all order deliveries via email and telephone by liaising with customers to ensure bookings are completed by the required deadline

· Manage any changes to deliveries by keeping customers informed and updating the system with these changes

· Preparing load packs for drivers with all necessary paperwork in a timely manner

· Adding notes to the system for all confirmed bookings to ensure the system holds up to date information

· Check customer orders with other colleagues to ensure accurate processing

· Scanning and checking proof of delivery paperwork

· Preparing fabric samples to post to consumers daily

· Responding to customer... queries through emails, telephone calls to resolve issues in a timely manner

· Assist your colleagues, when necessary, with any task required

· Any other tasks requested by your manager or a Director

· Monitor and control housekeeping to ensure your area is kept clean and in order

· Always ensure adherence to Company rules

Previous experience is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate high attention to detail, an excellent professional telephone manner, and that you work well as part of a team.

1. Person Specification

· Polite and professional telephone manner

· Motivated and self-starter

· Demonstrated capacity to prioritize and organise tasks to ensure delivery whilst meeting set deadlines

· Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Excel)

· Proven track record of being an effective communicator in both written and verbal interaction, with prior experience in delivering excellent customer service

· Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual

Experience:
• Administrative: 1 year (required), GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
