At the commencement of their jobs, new recruits are granted an hourly rate of $18.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duty demands that the individual performs tasks with or without reasonable assistance.
• Collaborates effectively with team members and ensures their direct leader is kept in the loop
• Maintains the secrecy and security of documents and data in their purview
• Additional responsibilities as designated

Cashier Responsibilities:
• Processes consumer orders, maintains cleanliness in the retail store, organizes products on the shelves, and displays merchandise with precision
• The shopping experience for customers is improved through the provision of exceptional customer service
• Keeps supervisory staff informed of any issues regarding products, inventory losses, scanning discrepancies, and other concerns that may affect store performance
• Plays an active role in the store inventory counts as per the set protocols and ensuring inventory accuracy
• The implementation of a comprehensive cash management strategy that adheres to established policies and procedures is essential to minimizing financial losses

Stocker Responsibilities:
• Creating an optimal shopping experience by maintaining proper shelf-stocking and rotation, ensuring fresh items are always available for customers
• A comprehensive merchandising planogram provides a concise and efficient way to ensure that all merchandising displays meet a certain standard of excellence
• Methodically arranging new inventory and disposing of empty boxes by breaking them apart is a crucial responsibility
• The ideal candidate for this job must have expertise in navigating complicated machinery and ensuring that all necessary safety measures are observed

Physical Demands:
• In order to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them, individuals working at the store are expected to engage in various physical tasks, including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
• Merchandise Stocker: Proficiency in transporting commodities from store receiving to shelving; adeptness in arranging items, with weights reaching up to 45 pounds, on different shelving levels

• The age requirement stated for this opportunity is a minimum of 18 years
• The capability to provide expedited and amiable attention to customers
• Capability to execute customary cleaning assignments in compliance with the company's requirements
• Applying company policies and procedures effectively requires good communication skills. This involves not only understanding the policies themselves, but also communicating expectations clearly to others
• Superior Oral Communication
• Capable of functioning successfully in an independent capacity as well as in a team-oriented environment
• Effective time management
• Developing expertise in a company's products and services can help employees identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
• Skill in working with the cash register proficiently and with accuracy
• Respect and adhere to the state and local laws that govern the handling and selling of alcoholic beverages, and make sure that your establishment is in compliance
• The ability to handle equipment with confidence and caution, like floor scrubbers, cardboard balers, and electric/manual hand jacks, is a necessary skill for a stocker

Education and Experience:
• Those who possess a high school diploma or an equivalent are preferred
• Individuals with past retail job experience are prioritized
• A merger of book learning and hands-on experience resulting in analogous understanding
