General Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the distribution warehouse while supporting quality and regulatory requirements and operational metrics. These activities include managing and leading warehouse employees in the receiving of goods, inventory management, surgical kit assembly, and order fulfillment activities.

Essential Functions
• Responsible for the timely receiving and stocking of set build products.
• Maintain and improve processes to meet regulatory requirements and operational efficiencies.
• Informs manager of concerns with physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
• Works closely with logistics and department heads to coordinate set build activities to meet desired schedule and sales goals.
• Co-create set build schedule with manager/director and logistics team.
• Maintain operations department cohesiveness and positive team environment.
• Assist in development of key performance indicators.
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI statistics and reports as required.
• Coordinate appropriate stock levels with purchasing team and maintain accurate inventories.
• Responsible for final document, set assembly review and approvals.
• Perform all set build processes as needed.
• Support 5S and supply management activities.
• Coordinate completion of training requirements
• Ensures the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The role has direct reports.
• Oversee and manage daily attendance and performance of direct reports.
• Recruit, on-board, and train new employees as required.
• Establish, manage, and provide consistent and timely feedback on goals & objectives.
• Support employee development plans.
• Provide direction to employees to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and budget objectives are met.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent. MRP or ERP experience required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and other employees of the organization. Requires excellent grammar and spelling.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to Ability to add compute rate, ratio and percent.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Requires a valid driver’s license.

Other Skills and Abilities: Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard, calculator, fax, photocopier, telephone, cell phone, etc. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
