Qualification Requirements:
• The applicant must possess a nursing certificate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• To be considered for this position, you must have a valid BLS certification, as well as a current New York State registration or a limited permit to practice in the State of New York.

• Work with patients to achieve the goals determined by the RPN in the care plan.
• Record information pertaining to the physical, cognitive, cultural, and spiritual well-being of an individual.
• To deliver exceptional nursing care consistently, healthcare practitioners must adhere to established standards that define the nursing process's structure, processes, and desired patient outcomes.
• The patient's treatment plan requires the expertise and guidance of an RPN who possesses the necessary skills to manage the patient's complex healthcare needs.
• Establish communication protocols that will allow healthcare providers to exchange information quickly and accurately, such as telemedicine as well as secure messaging systems.
• Preserve profession-specific yearly skills and detect and communicate any situations that demand referral to an RPN.
• Promote a culture of kindness and respect within the workplace.
• Uphold the confidentiality of classified information, demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for providing patient care in sync with the age and distinctiveness of the patients served, and perform data collection/documentation interventions in conformity with the prescribed plan or systematic protocol while documenting objective patient-care reports on the Daily System Assessment.
• Utilize nutritional knowledge to provide patients with proper dietary guidelines, support, and management tailored to individual needs.
• In order to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, it is important to keep the equipment and other supplies clean and well-maintained.


Initiating Plans of Care or Protocols, concluding a patient's 24-hour evaluation or creating End of Shift Summaries, and offering end of shift reports are not among the responsibilities of an LPN.


Efficient and harmonious communication with patients, colleagues, family members, and other stakeholders is an integral part of healthcare practice.
• Skillfulness in completing medical records on pre-existing paperwork.
• Proficiently engaging in attentive listening, following guidance, and participating in effective exchanges with others.
• The talent to collect the input of others for the purpose of achieving a consensus.
• Skill in calculating numeric expressions like rates, ratios, and percentages, along with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions, is necessary for medication accuracy, regardless of the unit of measurement in use.
• Ability to apply practical knowledge and understanding to implement directions furnished in written, oral, or schematic form.
• Ability to cope with problems that comprise several discernible factors in standardized situations.
