Job Summary: Bushwick Center seeks a dedicated and experienced LPN Clinical Supervisor for our Cath Lab department. As an integral part of our healthcare team, the LPN Clinical Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cath Lab unit, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise in catheterization procedures, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities for LPN Clinical Supervisor:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Cath Lab staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and support personnel.
• Provide direct patient care as needed, assisting with catheterization procedures, patient assessments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols, standards of care, and regulatory requirements within the Cath Lab department.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to review policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of Cath Lab personnel.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among Cath Lab staff.
• Serve as a liaison between the Cath Lab department and other healthcare departments within the organization.

Qualifications for LPN Clinical Supervisor:
• Current LPN licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively supervising healthcare staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of catheterization procedures, cardiac medications, and cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards of practice.
