OBJECTIVE: The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing the business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics and institutions that specialize in the area of medical dermatology
The Territory Manager will be required to demonstrate excellence in developing and implementing territory business plans... that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives
Responsibilities include coordination and integration with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) and field based employees (Field Reimbursement Managers, etc.) to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography
The geography of this position is: DETROIT, MI Required:Bachelor DegreePharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experienceStrong communication skills and business acumenAbility to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver resultsValid driver’s license Preferred:5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience3+ years medical dermatology sales experienceExperience selling products in a complex Market Access environmentExperience promoting high-science productsProduct launch experienceExperience selling in a highly competitive environment PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals
This individual should be highly motivated and highly professional
Capable of building trust with their matrix team and transparent, ethical and compliant in all their activities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:Reports directly to the Regional Sales ManagerResponsible for the understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reportsResponsible for timely call reporting and expense reportingResponsible for managing promotional budgets within their territoryResponsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Regional Sales Manager INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS: Interacts at multiple levels inside and outside the company
Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential
Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience
In addition, this position is part of the Sales Incentive Plan
