We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Alabaster, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of accounting tasks, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and providing HR support such as onboarding and terminations. Responsibilities
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Create and maintain accurate financial reports for management review
• Provide HR support including managing onboarding and termination processes
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Ensure timely month-end close processes
• Utilize Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
• Support other accounting tasks and projects as needed
