As a Medicare Sales Agent (also known as an Advocate Agent within our organization), you'll be given the opportunity to enjoy unbounded earning potential, work-from-home flexibility, access to top-tier paid training, and the potential to advance into a leadership role.

Your Compensation

Our first-year Advocate Agents generally earn between $60,000 and $75,000, with our high performers making up to a whopping $154,000. There's no cap on your total bonus, so your earnings can soar as high as you take them!

Your Role

As an Advocate Agent I, you'll serve as a trusted authority on matters related to Medicare insurance, representing some of the nation's premier carriers like Humana, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, and more. Your objective will be to pair customers with insurance plans that best meet their needs and budget.

At GoHealth, we believe that our best sellers should focus on doing what they do best - selling! You'll primarily be dealing with inbound calls from consumers interested in saving on their Medicare expenses and optimizing their coverage, while building your client portfolio through outbound consumer engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate the insurance needs of GoHealth customers via phone calls.
- Effectively market and sell health insurance plans to customers.
- Uphold excellent customer service practices as the face of our company.
- Quickly familiarize with new concepts and product offerings such as Major Medical, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, and additional health products.
- Steer consumers through the process of health insurance policy selection and application.

Requirements/Skills:

- Valid, active health insurance agent license in good standing in each state where licensed.
- Required knowledge of Medicare with a minimum one year of Medicare sales experience and completion of at least one Annual Enrollment Period.
- Maintain call productivity and meet set metrics.
- Acquire and retain the necessary product expertise and demonstrate sound knowledge of products.
- Excellent command of verbal and written communication.
- High coachability and constant drive for self-improvement.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, particularly mandatory overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15-Dec 7).
- Comply with the patient privacy safeguards set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Computer literacy, including MS Office, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

What We Offer:

- A competitive salary range from $44,632 to $154,153.
