Regulatory Compliance Manager

This is a centrally based hybrid role in the External Quality Organisation

The Regulatory Compliance Manager role exists to deliver effective and efficient services in the areas of Regulatory Conformance and Compliance to the External Quality team in Global Supply Chain.

In this role you will be:
• Accountable for the programs supporting Regulatory Conformance and Compliance within EQ including the building of internal and external relationships in order to drive excellence and meet GSK business needs
• Lead a busy and diverse team (of approximately 8), supporting problem solving and resolving complex issues. This would include supporting prioritization of work during peaks of change control notification and regulatory milestones.
• Proactively identify opportunities and strategies where complexity of regulatory filings can be reduced or simplified, to improve compliance and provide business benefit.
• To provide consultancy on regulatory conformance and compliance issues to both internal and external customers and ensure stakeholder expectations are met
• To manage the systems and processes in response to intelligence on new legislation and regulatory requirements and provide an expert interpretation of impact to the business, and actively communicate this to the relevant stakeholders.
• To establish relationships and aligned processes and systems with other parts of the GSK business in order to drive excellence within the regulatory conformance and compliance space

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
• University degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in a Quality function within a highly regulated environment
• Strong leadership skills, keen to inspire and motivate team and colleagues.
• Priority planning and ability to make effective decisions in highly complex environment
• Ability to work with multiple levels of the organisation to identify novel solutions
• Demonstrated effective communication skills (both written and oral) coupled with the ability to tailor these to a variety of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
• Experience in change control processes and regulatory compliance processes
• Experience in the use of Veeva systems for applications of change control and regulatory documents
• Continuous improvement experience and/or certification
