As a Base Calibration Engineer, your main responsibility will be calibrating and assessing gasoline engines for light to medium applications. You will plan experiments, set up engines, analyze results, and prepare reports. It's crucial to have hands-on skills, attention to detail, and a knack for understanding and documenting test outcomes.

You are expected to handle projects professionally, meeting technical expectations within budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

Plan and assist with engine Dyno testing

Troubleshoot calibration issues based on experience

Train your team of engineers and technicians

Calibrate engines to Nissan standards and ensure quality compliance

Prepare operational and maintenance reports

Manage tools, equipment, and workspace upkeep

Administer the warehouse and oversee test engines and parts

Education:

Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical/automotive/electrical engineering.

Previous work experience:

3 to 10 years in powertrain calibration... (engine, transmission, hybrid, e-drive, etc.)

Desirable: Team management experience

Desirable knowledge:

Data acquisition tools like ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, etc.

Calibration software like ETAS, MATLAB/Simulink.

Language:

English proficiency is required

Computer skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Competences:

Strong communication, task management, and teamwork skills

Availability to travel: Yes, both locally and internationally
