Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

We are seeking a committed and experienced SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Reading. Our school is dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with a range of special educational needs, and we are looking for a teacher who shares our commitment to inclusive and individualized education.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to students with diverse needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement the Childs educational care plans that address each student's unique learning requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the... individual needs of students with SEN
• Develop and implement ECPs in collaboration with other educators, therapists, and parents
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate students
• Support the social and emotional development of students
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching
• In-depth knowledge of various special educational needs and effective teaching strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education are highly desirable
