Hours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

Location: Newham

About the role:

As a SEN TA with Specialism in Challenging Behaviours, you will play a crucial role in supporting students within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who require additional assistance in their learning journey. You will work closely with individual students, providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers to learning. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to managing challenging behaviours, including but not limited to screaming.

Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support are desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, including those with challenging behaviours.
• Implement strategies and interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
