Join our team and seize an exciting opportunity to work remotely with a thriving Marketing Agency based in Australia. We are offering a part-time position with the potential to evolve into a full-time role as a Marketing Assistant/Social Media Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including designing, copywriting, scheduling, and reporting on social media advertising and branding strategies. Additionally, you will assist in survey design and builds, email composition, design, and testing for sends, as well as sourcing print production options and handling other administrative tasks to support the growth of our clients' accounts.

To excel in this role, you should possess proven experience and a genuine passion for managing the social media presence of diverse and sizable businesses across various industries. Effective communication skills, coupled with a keen eye for creativity and opportunities within the social media landscape, are essential.

You will be... part of a boutique independent marketing agency that currently serves 10 retainer clients, with more joining us each week. Our owner boasts over 19 years of industry experience, having worked with global brands. Join us as we expand our agency team to meet the demands of 2024 and beyond.

Please note: this client requires you to write posts in each brands tones of voice and is heavily against the use of AI due to its generic messaging so you will need to utilise your own brand understanding and creativity.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• On hand to assist in a variety of tasks for the managing director and account managers.
• Catch up once a week to discuss tasks for the week and requirements.
• Creative brief writing and creative management of designers across a variety of items such as signage, printed collateral etc.
• Require you to proofread/edit lengthy documents before they go to print.
• Growth of our clients’ organic social channels and community.
• Strategic understanding of all social channels to push the boundaries and limits in what can be achieved for client accounts.
• Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive social marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
• Manage social planning, calendar, and serve as the day-to-day social content lead, managing, producing, and executing content sharing across social platforms for all retainer clients.
• Lead the development of content strategies & set measurable goals for constant review.
• Identify and facilitate PR opportunities and partnerships.
• Analyse the market, competitors and audience providing actionable insights.
• You will be required to create 1 months’ worth of social media posts for min of 5 customers across Facebook and Instagram including copywriting, tile design and scheduling into planner.
• Collaborate with the CEX team to make sure we are engaging in conversations with our customers and keeping on top of what our customers are thinking and feeling.

Education and Work Experience:
• Preferably with three (3) years of experience as Marketing Assistant / Social Media Manager.
• Experience with brief writing, content creation, social media growth and performance.
• A strong understanding of the different Social Media platforms and how best to create content/market on each of them.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Computer literate
• Experienced in Canva (not just using templates but able to design confidently to client’s brand guidelines).
• Can start immediately
