Position: Coverage Banker – Digital & Consumer (m/w/d)

Key Duties

► Acquisition of medium and large corporate clients and

be the face in the market for ABN AMRO Corporate

Banking Germany

► Manages a client portfolio which is aimed at realizing

the (financial) goals of the client, the agreed financial

and commercial objectives of the bank and increased

client satisfaction

► Awareness of in- and external developments related to

the positioning of the Corporate & Institutional Client

(CIC) franchise and its clients

► Gives input on business- and annual plans, in-line with

the vison and strategy... of CIC

► Focuses on the most efficient realisation of the

commercial opportunities for the clients by providing

the appropriate products and services with the aim to

build a long-term, trustful client relationship

► Monitors the progress and quality of the Client Service

Teams by using the applicable CRM system to ensure

all client conversations are reported and progress can

be measured in the deal pipeline

► Proactively introduces the different products and

services of Corporate Banking with a focus on fee

related business within the set commercial objectives

► Proactively introduces potential prospects for private

banking to the Wealth Managers

► Keeps himself/herself fully informed of all

developments in the sector and uses this knowledge

towards internal and external parties to expand the

network and to present himself/herself and the bank as

an authority in his/her area of expertise

► Maintains a strong network to product partners and

stakeholders internally and invests time in building and

maintaining contacts outside the bank

► Is responsible for signaling and implementing possible

structural improvements in several complex

(administrative) processes within his/her field

► Ensures cost control, on the basis of the planning &

control system, in order to remain within the allocated


Your Profile

► Academic level of knowledge / experience including an

innovative way of thinking

► At least 10 years’ experience in a relevant setting or

► Profound relevant industry knowledge and existing

network in the Consumer industries, ideally in the Food

and Retail sector

► Self-starter with strong commercial drive and the

proven ability to actively originate business and

manage multidisciplinary teams based on a clear


understanding of clients and the commercial

► Ability to entertain a strategic funding driven dialogue

with clients and prospects at Treasury and CFO/CEO


► Profound knowledge of the Corporate and Investment

Banking product suite and preferably working

experience in either Corporate Lending/Leverage

Finance, Capital Markets (ECM, DCM) or Mergers &


► Knowledge of current social and economic

developments, the regional network and developments

in its market area, industry and sector data,

competition and banking products tailored for

Corporate Clients as well as the international market

► Knowledge of ABN AMRO's vision and strategy,

especially by Corporate Banking, the operating

concepts, business processes, organization, products

and services

► Fluent English and German skills, written and spoken
