Acuris have an exciting new opportunity to join our EMEA HR team as an HR Advisor based in our Sofia office. You’ll be reporting into the HR Manager (based in London) and will be the first point of contact for advice and support for 80 employees based in Bulgaria. The ideal candidate will already be at an Advisor level within a HR generalist role, with demonstrable skills in ER cases, including grievances, performance management and disciplinaries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise managers and support on the recruitment process including approvals, drafting job descriptions / adverts and reviewing agency T&Cs
• Assist with employee benefits including responsibility for the administration of company benefits systems
• Take ownership of the onboarding process including pre-employment checks, preparing contracts and offer letters
• Conduct new joiner inductions
• Advise and coach managers on approaching employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinaries
• Support managers... in dealing with performance issues both formally and informally
• Advise and assist managers with restructures, redundancies and severance agreements
• Act as the first point of contact for flexible working and maternity requests
• Liaise with the HR Manager to establishing training needs of the business
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to managers as necessary
• Assist managers in setting objectives and designing development plans
• Review and monitor absence, reporting trends to Managers
• Develop and implement company policies
• Be responsible for answering HR queries including benefits and leave entitlements
• Undertake Ad-hoc project work
• Complete HR actions / run reports on our HR system

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to interact at all levels of the business as well as with external parties such as our payroll provider. You will also have proven organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines. You’ll have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and a proven track record in managing projects through to completion.
