The Offer

Ideal Candidate

Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for handling a portfolio of locally incorporated and foreign corporate clients and providing corporate secretarial services.
• Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties including incorporation, strike-off, preparation of directors or shareholders resolutions for on-going corporate secretarial matters.
• Onboard new clients in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ensuring timely AGM reminders and filing of annual returns.
• Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business parties as and when required.
• Managing queries from and communicating with clients, as well as... personnel from accounting divisions that provide accounting and tax services to the clients.
• Responsible for liaising with partners to apply for work passes for the client.
• Responsible for assessing work procedures, providing feedback or suggestions for improvements, and implementing the improvement process, where necessary.
• Provide coaching and guidance to the team and clients on corporate secretarial and governance matter.
• Other ad hoc projects

The Profile

Key Skillsets and Requirements:
• Corporate assignments knowledge in Singapore & Malaysia and other jurisdictions.
• Qualification of Chartered Secretary (ICSA) would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in handling a portfolio independently.
• Have supervisory experience managing junior corporate secretarial professionals.
• Good knowledge of the Companies Act and AML/CFT requirements of registered filing agents.
• Meticulous attention to fine details, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and multi-tasking.
• Ability to organise and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa is a plus to effectively liaise with the stakeholders of the region.
