This is a permanent, full-time position, Home Office (UK).

Role Overview:

BBI Solutions provides a comprehensive suite of reagents, providing critical components and technical expertise to the global diagnostics industry. As the Manager, Global Product Management, you will be responsible for the successful management of BBI Solutions Product Portfolio, supporting significant growth strategies and opportunities, implementing a global pricing strategy to protect and drive margin improvement, and leading a team of application focused Product Managers. You will do this by working collaboratively with commercial and other functional leaders to ensure key portfolio, strategic, and in-year objectives are met. This player/coach role is ideally... suited to an experienced Product Manager with previous experience of leading a Product Management team. It is a global role and can be based in either BBI’s EMEA or Americas territories.

Role Requirements

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Product Lifecycle Management
• Drives the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, pricing, roadmap development, and product launch.
• Develops and presents business cases for build, buy, or partner, to support product pipeline.
• Translates product strategy into detailed features, specifications and requirements of the product based on customer and market preferences.
• Issue resolution and portfolio resilience: Works with site leaders and the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to optimise product performance, quality compliance, supply availability/consistency and cost management. Contributes to a spirit of continuous product & cost improvement.
• Collaborates with Marketing to develop product marketing plans and leads new product launch.
• Acts as key interface between the commercial and operational organisation– ensuring the product management team are shaping and delivering on key customer, performance, and resilience priorities.
• Ensures that product management acts as lead on product related issue resolution and escalation management for the sales and customer service teams.
• Accountable for product availability. Supports product manager level function department/demand planning forecasting review with ambition to secure product availability to forecast and intended lead-times.

Product Pricing and Marketing
• Understands market conditions and obtains customer insights throughout the year to develop global product pricing and positioning strategies.
• Coordinates with Sales, Finance and Commercial Operations functions to implement pricing strategies, ensuring an effective governance and control environment.
• Analyses market data to develop sales strategies and defines product objectives for effective marketing communications.
• Actively collaborates with Marketing to create sales support materials, customer facing material and to support campaign development for the portfolio.

Revenue Growth and Commercialization
• Gains a deep understanding of the customer experience, identifies, and fills product gaps and generates innovative ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
• Identifies priority growth opportunities, supporting the sales team to coordinate cross functional engagement and ensure timely solutions and actions to secure new business and growth, including participating in Commercial Growth Reviews and Growth Boards.
• Develops and delivers sales and support training. Acts as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding and to ensure the product portfolio and group/site-specific capabilities are appropriately represented.
• Serves as a primary technical and product resource for customers and internal stakeholders and is the primary resource for the commercial team.
• Develops and maintains a commercial focus by visiting and establishing relationships with key customers in coordination with the commercial team to gather feedback and bring the thoughts and perspectives of the customer to the organization.
• Ensures any changes or modifications to an existing product are communicated appropriately to customers.
• Supports the annual and quarterly sales review and budget setting process, as well as annual price reviews and gross margin targets by function department.
• Working with function department/site and commercial leaders to improve supply/demand forecasting to improves predictability of business.

Product Performance
• Tracks product revenue and margin performance for individual and group portfolio and collaborates to develop plans to accelerate growth or mitigate decline.
• Manages pricing and tactics to ensure profitable growth.
• Monitors Portfolio Resilience: Complaint resolution/reduction, rolling forecast accuracy, improved portfolio volume scaling and margin evolution, future value trajectory, NPD vitality (% of sales)
