**Head/Lead of Accounting Chile** - Be the change. Let’s go above and beyond

Reporting to the Accounting Manager in Chile, the Lead of Accounting in Chile will have the responsibility of leading a team of 3 members and preparing Financial Statements in accordance with the policies, accounting standards, and internal procedures established by the Sodexo Group.
• *How your next challenge looks like**:
• *Lead the Accounting Team**: Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely work output.
• *Financial Reporting**: Responsible for the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports (balance sheets, profit and... loss statements, etc.), in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• *Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that all accounting procedures and reports adhere to local, national, and international laws and regulations, including tax filings and payments.
• *Audit Management**: Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary information is prepared and any audit findings are addressed promptly.
• *Tax Management**: Oversee the company's tax operations, including the calculation, filing, and payment of all necessary taxes.
• *System Migration Projects**: Participate in the migration to new accounting systems or ERP software, providing input from an accounting perspective to ensure the new system meets all necessary requirements.
• *Account Reconciliation**: Supervise the reconciliation of all accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• *Capital Expenditure and Fixed Assets Supervision**: Oversee the management of capital expenditure (Capex) and fixed assets, ensuring appropriate accounting and reporting.
• *Process Improvement**: Continually assess and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• *You’re a match if you are/have**:

- A Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and **International Financial Reporting Standards **(IFRS).
- Experience with accounting ERPs**:user level and migration process**. Ideally, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Experience in payroll processes and tax legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ideally, previous experience in payment solutions companies, technology firms, telecommunications, audit firms, or retail.
- Competencies: Leadership, Teamwork, Negotiation, Stakeholder Management, and good Communication Skills.
