The Role?

The FP&A Analyst reports to FP&A Team Leader and will assist on driving the GBU’s reporting, supporting the development and implementation of reporting/analysis and rebates global process. This position intends to provide high quality support to the GBUs FP&A and Commercial Business Partners. The job holder will also assist the volume, revenue and margin planning and analysis with a global overview.

What will YOU... do?

Global FP&A (Commercial processes):
• Develop a deep understanding of business metrics and tools used for reporting across the company (Trade Sales, BI Sales, Material Costs, margins, etc.).
• Work on global projects to streamline customer rebates.
• Manage IMEA customer rebates and work with Finance Business Partners for IMEA to get the right business insights over customer rebates.
• Manage North America Construction Adhesives (NA CA) contractor/ buying groups rebates and work with Commercial Business Partners for CA NA to get the right business insights over customer rebates;
• Work alongside with Commercial Business Partners and Business Intelligence (BI) teams in order to improve the level of analysis and data quality – including COPA adjustments;
• Support Robotic Process Automation team implementing automated Credit Memos issuance and accrual booking and support/ work with Record to Report team;

Reporting and Analysis:
• Data validation of Business and regular Global performance reports.
• Understand and support the enterprise financial analysis (Market P&L, rebate impact, rebates vs. margins, among others)
• Deal with all ad-hoc BI reporting requests ensuring a timely response;
• Support the implementation of process improvements to reduce Finance Business process cycle times, improve financial quality and enhance information provided to leadership;
• Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist Corporate FP&A and FP&A GBU’s. Challenging the GBU’s looking for the global picture.

Key Internal Customers
• Management and Corporate FP&A ensure alignment in terms of reporting in the commercial area and timely submission into Global BI.
• Commercial Business Partners with extensive information on requests and generation of major reports such as regular actual reports.

Minimum Requirements
• University degree in or equivalent in Finance or Economics.
• Minimum 2-year experience in medium and large blue-chip multinationals.
• Knowledge of Management Information, Business analysis, and Financial Planning Processes.
• Evidence of strong communication skills; genuine team player; individually Accountable for Results.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, other language skills are also valued.

Preferred Requirements
• Experience across the breadth of the Finance function's accountabilities, ideally including exposure to senior business management.
• Finance or Economics degree qualification.
• International and cross-cultural exposure.
