The primary purpose of this job is to develop and manage the relationships with one or more of our Strategic Suppliers for clinical service delivery (eg central lab for the supply of clinical material to investigations sites sample handling and sample management)

This is an important role that is essential for ensuring continuous high-quality delivery of services that are executed by our strategic suppliers (eg Q²Solutions as central laboratory) and for ensuring

continuous improvement of how we work together as organizations. This role is also important for

ensuring that the relationships are managed, and issues are appropriately escalated across the

governance framework including interactions with the senior leaders of the suppliers to ensure the

relationships deliver value for a long-term.

• Ensure key deliverables from HBSM perspective:

- Build and ensure effective relationships with key strategic suppliers(s) at senior leaders

and... operational levels

- Manage day to day interactions with Strategic supplier counterpart to ensure smooth

relationships and expected deliveries according to contract

- Contribute to design and implement effective governance model with the strategic


-Monitor quality and performance and drive continuous process improvement between

our Client and Strategic Suppliers
• Establishes and enforces necessary governance needed to minimize the risks across the portfolio of activities executed at the Strategic Supplier for our Client including on-going monitoring of performance and quality
• Drive continuous improvement to ensure our Client is getting the most value from the spend with these suppliers
• Establishes the Data Base Set-Up
• Ensure interface with the risk management framework for outsourcing
• Interact with senior management both internally and externally to the company and is responsible for influencing, communicating and driving a significant amount of change at al levels of the organization
• Establishes and agrees future direction of the partnerships with internal stakeholders including VPs and equivalent roles at the strategic supplier level
• Mentor and coach the clinical teams ( eg Laboratory study management team) working in this framework

• Strong skills in building effective relationships at both senior leadership and operational levels (Supplier Relationship Management)
• Strong skills in building of Database Set Up and awareness of all related challenges
• Ability to contribute to the design and implementation of an effective governance model with strategic suppliers (Contract management)
• Familiarity with ongoing monitoring of supplier performance and quality, and interfacing with the risk management framework for outsourcing (Governance and Risk Management)
• Ability to monitor quality and performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize value from the supplier relationships (Continuous Improvement)
• Effective communication and influencing skills, particularly in a cross-functional and cross-organizational context (Stakeholder Management)
• Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of partnerships and align them with organizational goals (Strategic Partnership Development)
• Ability to provide guidance and support to teams working within the supplier relationship framework (Mentoring and Coaching)

• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing relationships with strategic suppliers, particularly in the clinical service delivery field (Supplier Relationship Management)
• Proven track record of managing day-to-day interactions with strategic suppliers to ensure adherence to contract terms and expected deliveries (Contract Management)
• Extensive experience in establishing and enforcing necessary governance to minimize risks in the portfolio of activities executed by strategic suppliers (Governance and Risk Management).
• Background in driving continuous process improvement initiatives in collaboration with strategic suppliers (Continuous Improvement)
• Proven ability to interact with senior management both internally and externally, influencing, communicating, and driving change at all levels of the organization (Stakeholder Management)
• Established track record of establishing and agreeing on the future direction of partnerships with internal stakeholders, including VPs and equivalent roles at the strategic supplier level (Strategic Partnership Development)
• Previous experience in mentoring and coaching teams, particularly clinical teams like the Laboratory study management team (Mentoring and Coaching)
