JOB DETAILS:
Job Dimension/ General Description.
The candidate will be tasked to drive revenue growth, implement sales and marketing strategies, monitor instore execution and store performance. He/she will work closely with Directors, GM Sales-E.A, Marketing Manager, HR team and other stakeholders based in Head office, Nairobi.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategies Execution
• Collaborate with senior management to develop sales targets, objectives, and plans to achieve them.
• Implement tactics for servicing new and existing markets towards growth of sales.
• Develop tactics for category management and proper product assortment.
• Analyze sales data to identify areas of weakness and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct routine market visits to establish compliance with the availability and visibility objectives.
• Weekly and monthly monitoring of sales performance.

Business Development
• Identify new markets while developing the existing ones.
•... Ensure timely listing of new products and collaborate with the stakeholders to ensure proper placement.
• Identifying, evaluating and establishing suitable routes to market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales objectives.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, support, and addressing customer concerns.

Key Accounts Management
• Managing and developing relationship with key accounts and general trade.
• Oversee distributor activities by ensuring efficient distribution and coordination of marketing and promotional activities – Zanzibar.
• Managing Horeca Business and optimizing any available opportunities.
• Collaborate with Credit team to ensure effective management of credit extended to key customers.
• Review and monitor account and store sales performance.

Marketing
• Develop promo schedule for approval purposes.
• Oversee execution of marketing activities/initiatives upon approval.
• Liaising with marketing suppliers for marketing collateral.
• Liaising with marketing agents in collaboration with HQ team.

Team Management
• Manage Attendance and leave / off days for the team.
• Identify the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales teams using the sales automation application.
• Handling of disciplinary issues as per the HR guideline.
• Recruitment, Onboarding, and training of new hires.
• Provide regular team coaching and performance feedback.
• Set individuals staff KPI and appraisal as per HR guidelines.
• Ensure that each team member remains engaged, aligned, and supported to achieve their goals.
• Plan, negotiate and allocate resources required for effective implementation of sales objectives.

Reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
• Maintain records of assets and resources for reference.
• Use the sales force automation to capture teams’ coverage, attendance, and merchandising audit.

Any other duty may be allocated by your supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications/Experience required
• Degree in a sales and marketing or business-related Field.
• Minimum Five years’ experience working in a busy sales and marketing department; preferably FCMG setting.
