Job Purpose:Site Engineer is responsible managing different parts of projects, ensuring the successful execution of construction projects, from start to finish, while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with project requirementsKey Responsibilities:Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate site preparation activities, including mobilization of equipment, setup of temporary facilities, and establishment of safety measures.Monitor construction progress, including work schedules, milestones, and deadlines. Report any deviations to the Project Manager and take corrective actions as necessary.Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets project specifications, codes, and standards. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to maintain high-quality standards.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure timely delivery of... materials and equipment needed for construction activities. Manage resource allocation efficiently to optimize productivity.Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams on-site, addressing any technical issues or challenges that arise during construction.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and as-built drawings. Communicate project status and issues to relevant stakeholders.Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site, addressing inquiries, providing updates on project progress, and resolving any issues or concerns.Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards on-site, implementing measures to minimize environmental impact during construction activities.Monitor construction costs and expenses on-site, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the construction process.Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and specifications, assessing impacts and implementing adjustments as necessary. Document all changes and ensure proper approval procedures are followed.Assist in the closeout process, including conducting final inspections, preparing punch lists, and facilitating the handover of completed projects to clients.Knowledge & Skills:Educational and Technical Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in civil engineeringLanguage Skills:Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills, English communication skills.Years of Experience:Civil experience minimum 5+ experience in Oil and Gas.Nature of Experience:Planning and project management skills.Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.Sound knowledge of civil Engineering, construction, and design.A sound understanding of safety protocols
