The Client:

My client is one of the leading, and fastest growing, Building Contractors in Ireland, with an annual turnover in excess of €500m.

They are undertaking multiple projects for Apartments, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical Plants and Offices in the Dublin region currently.

Due to further growth and the fact that they have been awarded the contract for their largest project to date, I am looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team.

We're looking for someone who has the enjoys being part of a team. has the ability to develop people and processes and who possesses excellent communication skills.

Main responsibilities will include:

Whilst managing a team of 2/3 more junior Quantity Surveyors, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting the Commercial and Project teams with preparing tenders and setting commercial targets for the project.
• The procurement of subcontractors, meetings, preparing/reviewing documentation and schedules... applications, variation schedules, measurements, managing accounts/negotiations, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final account.
• Finalise subcontractor accounts, complete documentation as per the contract and company policies.

Qualifications:
• Candidates should have appropriate professional qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
• A minimum of 7 years experience gained with a building contractor, having a proven, demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding expectations.
• Knowledge of various construction contracts.
• Excellent IT systems knowledge.
