The U.S. Embassy in the Netherlands (The Hague) is the diplomatic mission of the United States in the Netherlands.

We provide assistance to U.S. citizens living in the Netherlands on a range of matters working alongside the U.S. Consulate.

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join us on a part-time basis for a 12 month fixed term contract (with a view to extension), working up to 24 hours per week.

The Role

As a Nurse, you will provide medical care services to employees and eligible family members, in line with MED approved clinical guidelines.

Working in the medical unit, you will assess, treat and provide ongoing care for patients. You will maintain an inventory of all medical equipment and supplies and carry out administration of group and individual health education programs.

Additionally, you will support the implementation of the vaccination programme and take part in contingency planning to mitigate medical emergencies.

About You

To be considered as a Nurse, you will need:

- A minimum of two years' experience of post-qualification work as a professional nurse
- Fluency in Dutch and a good working knowledge of English
- A degree (RN Level) in nursing or an equivalent diploma and/or certificate from an accredited School of Nursing
