Job Opening: Sales Representative for E-commerce Platform

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative with a background in e-commerce sales to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to close subscriptions for our multivendor e-commerce platform from various vendors. The initial focus will be on signing up new vendors to run full fledged online supermarket stores at a monthly subscription fee.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target potential vendors from a pool of our aggregator partners to join the Kinda Trade platform.
• Conduct compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the... benefits of our platform.
• Close subscription deals with vendors, ensuring they understand and utilize our electric bicycle offerings.
• Meet and exceed weekly targets of signing up at least 50 vendors.
• Maintain relationships with new and existing vendors to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and support teams to develop strategies that drive vendor acquisition and retention.
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and progress towards targets.
• Ensure sustainability of vendor subscriptions.

• Proven experience in e-commerce sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the electric bicycle market is a plus.
• Passion for technology and innovation in the e-commerce space.
