Job description and work sphere:

For our Hungarian Sales office, we are looking for a Finance Manager. In this role you will be based at our Sales Office in Budapest and will be part of our Finance team for our commercial organization of Cluster South-East Europe. The local Finance Assistant will be reporting to you, and you will work closely with the local in and outside sales teams. As Finance Manager you are reporting directly to... the Head of Cluster South-East with functional reporting to Head Finance Commercial, Europe.

Your activities will cover those as mentioned but is not limited to:
• Financial administration – Review Day to day accounting activities related to AR, AP, GL, and month end tasks in collaboration with inhouse accounting team and outsourced service providers on daily basis.
• Credit Management: Ensure timely customer collections in cooperation with local teams. Review customer ageing and DSO reports. To manage Credit limits as per defined commercial policy. Year-end close & statutory audit related activities and month-end close process
• Taxation Compliance: VAT monthly clearing, reconciliation, payment, and filing. Also, annual CIT / transfer pricing or other local compliances.
• Business Planning: Support county level annual budget exercise in coordination with Sales Cluster management and Finance HQ as per defined finance process / timelines.
• Business Analysis: Support Sales Manager / Cluster Director in profitability, sales price / mix, local cost to support operations review and key decision making.
• Support in Internal and External Audit.
• Travelling: Minimal, occasional review visits to Cluster Sales Office, Vienna or Europe HQ, Amsterdam are expected.
• Team Management: You will directly manage one accountant in the local team.

Job and educational requirements, experience, and skills:
• 4-5 years relevant work experience
• Qualification: Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting
• Financial analysis capabilities
• Experience in Financial / Internal controls governance
• Good business acumen
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP systems, financial applications, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
• Good Knowledge of MS office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• International mind-set and ability to work with people for different cultural background.
• Team player - being able to work with multiple colleagues from many departments.
• Communication & advisory skills - ability to precisely summarize on key topics.
• Languages: Fluent in Hungarian and English
