Reporting to the Manager of Information Services, the Network Analyst will lead our team in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, technical expertise in network analysis, and a proven track record of managing complex network environments. This role requires the ability to provide supervision to department staff, develop strategic plans for network optimization, and collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals.

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including but not limited to switches, routers, networks, threat management, vulnerability scanning and patching. Develop strategies to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized... access.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, minimizing downtime and disruption to business operations. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
• Aid and advise users on network and cybersecurity matters.
• Manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors, including negotiating contracts, evaluating products, and overseeing vendor performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures, and provide regular reports on network performance and security metrics to senior management.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in network management, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Indirect – four (4) full-time staff

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years of progressive experience in network administration in an enterprise environment.
• In-depth networking skills including (but not limited to): routing, VLAN, switching, firewalls, wireless, DNS, DHCP, AD, LDAP and remote access protocols. Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Office 365 management and Azure systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and empower teams.
• Ability to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential/sensitive information.
• Availability to work overtime and flexible hours including after-hours and on weekends and respond to after-hours emergencies as required to meet deadlines, resolve problems, and effect system changes and repairs. May require on-call responsibilities from time to time
