We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. We’re based in Berlin and we are considering preferably Berlin-based candidates for this role.

Team’s mission:

The Growth team at Upvest is driving our go-to-market activities, spanning across Marketing, Sales, and Account Management. Our mission is to become the Investment-as-a-service category leader for Europe's leading brokers, banks, wealth managers, and non-financial platforms. We're honoured to work with some of Europe's leading brands in a fast-moving and expanding market already and are just getting started.

As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and outcome-driven B2B Marketing Manager to join us. All our team efforts are centred around the client and give you the opportunity to work with high autonomy coupled with inspirational leadership. Working in the Growth team combines impactful work with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We have established strong practices around feedback, team health, and social events.

You will be working directly with our Senior Marketing Manager Julieta Varsano who is leading the Marketing team.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Contribute to the evolution of our Growth team by bringing your knowledge and passion to support our marketing efforts:
• Content marketing: Plan and execute our ongoing marketing efforts (content planning, generation, and distribution). Create engaging and high-quality content for various digital channels (e.g. blog, LinkedIn).
• Product marketing: Collaborate with Product to plan and execute product marketing campaigns that educate our prospects and create demand. Ensure the content aligns with key messaging and market and industry interests and trends.
• PR: Launch new PR initiatives about upcoming and existing partnerships. Increase Upvest’s brand visibility by identifying and organising media appearances.
• Events: Identify relevant events and conferences and procure speaking slots or other collaboration opportunities. Own and organise small-scale events.
• Brand expression: Ensure that our visual expression matches the ambition of our positioning across all channels.
• Category development: Bring the Investment API category to life by transforming the narrative across all our external touch points. Define themes, value propositions, and unique selling points of the platform.
• Business development: Conduct independent market research to identify, collect, manage, and analyse relevant trends and business opportunities.
• Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our marketing efforts. Prepare regular reports and provide insights to optimise campaigns and strategies.
• Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and People, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of marketing activities.

Job requirements:
• Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on content creation, product marketing, and B2B digital channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German language skills are a plus)
• Interested in the fintech and investment industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Salesforce, Linkedin Ads, Google Ads, etc).
• You're a creative person, with the ability to condense complex issues into simple and tangible messages
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interest in the latest trends in marketing, branding, and communications
• You love to be challenged and have no problem taking responsibility
