Central Florida Opportunity

Civil/Site Engineering is a certified woman owned civil engineering firm focused on construction engineering inspection, infrastructure design and land development in the Central Florida Market. Our home office is in Maitland, just north of Orlando, but our service area spans from Tampa to Orlando to Jacksonville to Vero Beach. We serve transportation agencies as well... as municipalities and land development clients. We provide our clients the engineering capabilities of a large firm with the agility and responsiveness of a small firm. We are looking for a strong Senior Project Engineer (SPE) to lead and grow our CEI group. Our current staff consists of Contract Support Specialists, Sr. Inspectors and Inspectors. Currently serving in a sub-consultant role, we are looking for an SPE to enable CSEI to lead projects as the prime consultant. An SPE who can win work, has a solid track record and name recognition with FDOT (D1, D2, D5, Turnpike), manage projects and lead/grow the staff.

The ideal candidate will come with a background of managing successful CEI projects and teams and have the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, lead team members and manage sub-consultants.

• Hands on management of a CEI Project
• Lead/inspire our CEI group
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Support new project pursuits

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ relevant engineering experience with minimum of (5) years’ experience in an SPE role with FDOT and/or CFX
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
• Track record of successful projects with either FDOT (D1, D2, D5, Turnpike) and demonstrated ability to win work
• FDOT Advanced MOT certification
• CTQP Quality Control Manager certification
• Strong Communication Skills
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel Software
• Experience with CPM Schedules is preferred
