ROLE SUMMARY

This role is to support the evolution of the analytics service offering of Revantage Asia Pacific. Specifically responsible for transforming data into commercially focused reporting and insights to drive business performance for Revantage and other Blackstone portfolio companies.

This role will be required to:
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management reporting
• Develop a suite of analytical reorts to highlight business performance indicators
• Understand data sources and work with Technology to integrate with visualisation tools
• Partner with Blackstone and portfolio companies to ensure new data sources are captured adequately
• Focus on utilisation of technology solutions (including data visualisation tools) for reporting

Internal Metrics
• Assist FP&A team in the production of monthly management reporting across APAC. Examples include:
• Income by customer reporting
• Regional travel analysis
• Staff utilisation analysis
• Offshore Centre of Excellence reporting
• Cost categories deep-dives
• Enterprise business planning and ongoing performance management (budget, forecast, acutals tracking)
• Expense analyse for Revantage and wider BX investments
• Partner with other Revantage APAC functions to deliver strategic analysis. Examples include:
• Headcount analytics
• External vendor spend analysis
• Service expansion business case analysis
• APAC real estate platform cost analysis
• Assist with preparation of business plans for management companies
• Pricing, Margin, MER analysis and benchmarking

External Analytics
• Work with the Head of FP&A to develop reporting focused on:
• Student housing sector and specifically Blackstone's Student One portfolio
• Revanatge services provisioned to 151 Property
• Other industry /sector analytics as Revanatage APAC expands it's reach in the region
• Maintain and share market knowledge within the company
• Assist Revantage leadership with ongoing portfolio company relationship management activities
• Reporting, including:
• Support PortCos (e.g. Student One and Fort Knox) with board reporting and ongoing analysis
• Adhoc financial modelling , strategic planning and information requests from key stakeholders
• Investment analysis and updates on behalf of portfolio companies
• Assist with preparing "playbook" for the onboarding of new portfolio companies
• Ad-hoc reporting requests from portfolio companies

What You Bring To The Role

Required:
• 5+ years prior experience a financial analytics focused role Consulting backgrounds will be highly regarded
• Experience with Power BI or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Planning, vendor management and business partnering skills.
• Confident working with teams in different locations.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Keeps abreast of the latest data trends, concepts and tooling.
• Property investment management experience favourable
• Highly developed analytical / numeracy / conceptual reasoning skills
• Experienced business partner (track record of collaborating across levels of an organization)
• Able to synthesise information and analysis to present analysis and information in a compelling and influential way
• Proven ability to analyse and assess problems and translate real world scenarios and risks into effective financial models
• High attention to detail
• Extensive experience in leading teams, building capability and telant
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

Preferred:
• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Experience of using Databricks.
• Experience of using Datamart, Data Lake or Data Warehouse solutions.
• Experience of using Snowflake.
• Experience of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience of Alation as a user or creator.
• Background in Real Estate
• Experience in forecasting platforms (MRI, Anaplan, Argus, Forbury or similar)
