The Role:

Due to an internal movement, we are currently seeking an experienced Perm Recruitment Consultant to play an integral part within our business based in Mt Wellington or Henderson. This role will be working closely with existing and new clients, as well as brining in new business, nationally. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in recruitment, preferably agency, and be looking for the next step in their career.

You will be focused on 360 recruitment - resourcing, on-boarding and placing candidates and managing our existing relationships while hunting new business, within the blue-collar sector.

Reporting into the Head of Industrial, your responsibilities will include:
• Recruiting and placing quality permanent candidates to clients, whilst maintaining compliance standards.
• Managing the candidate, not only in placement, but also pastoral care throughout their first 90 days.
• Systems and compliance management of your recruitment desk
• Building strong relationships whilst understanding the client business and workforce requirements
• Strategic planning of your recruitment desk and brand
• Working collaboratively with divisions and branches for sustainable growth
• Supporting and driving brand awareness

To thrive in this position, the following attributes are highly desirable:
• 2 years' experience in a consultant and/or resourcing role is preferred, ideally in blue collar recruitment - agency experience preferred.
• Sales focused, keen to build your brand and business
• Full licence and reliable transport
• Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Be approachable and confident in dealing with a variety of people
• Excellent time management skills
• Administration savvy with strong computer literacy, Microsoft Office, Fast Track
• Customer service focused
• Outstanding attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop
