CASE CASSIOPEA is looking to strengthen the execution capabilities of its Paris office with Associates/ Senior Associates / VPs who are ambitious and talented individuals willing to join an entrepreneurial and international adventure.

CASE CASSIOPEA offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of strategic financial advisory deals (buy-side, sell-side, fundraising) for a wide range of large clients (large corporate, private equity / infrastructure funds, institutional investors, family offices, entrepreneurs) within a well-established network covering in particular Benelux, the Nordics, Spain and Latin America.

Job description

Key Responsibilities VPs
• Lead project management of live of transactions
• Actively engage with clients and other clients' advisers
• Overview financial modelling and valuation workstreams in execution of transactions and in marketing phases
• Coordinate preparation of presentations in the context of execution of transactions
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to the permanent improvement of the technical skills and high-end standards within the firm
• Leverage on integrated European network / existing partnerships with ABN AMRO / PK Partners / MAP
• Play a pivotal role in origination and marketing activities
• Contribute to idea generation and sector coverage

Key Responsibilities Associates / Senior Associates
• Create and populate financial models
• Coordinate and perform business due diligences
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations with the assistance of junior staff
• Prepare preliminary valuation analyses
• Lead the planning and execution of marketing engagements
• Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients and prospective clients and their professional advisors
• Supervise junior team members
• Assist senior bankers in the marketing and planning of engagements

Key Requirements
• Strong academic background (Top business school and / or Engineering school)
• From 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in M&A or in wider transaction environments (Transaction Services, Strategic Advisory)
• Client facing abilities
• Strong enthusiasm and commitment
• Team player and entrepreneurial attitude
• Strong understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
• Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
• Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (essential)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
