SEN Specialists

Location: Southend on Sea

Salary: £70 - £150 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Our secondary schools in Southend on Sea are seeking dedicated SEN Specialists to join our team starting in September 2024.

As an SEN Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include developing individualized education plans, working closely with teachers and parents, and implementing strategies to help students succeed academically and socially. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.

Collaborate... with classroom teachers to create inclusive learning environments.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular updates to parents and staff.

Assist in the preparation and organization of SEN resources and materials.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in special educational needs, with relevant qualifications and experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs.

A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and task management.

As an SEN Specialist, you will be essential in helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential. Your dedication and expertise will contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment.


Relevant Qualifications Or Experience In Special Educational Needs.

Experience working with secondary school students is advantageous.

Strong understanding of various SEN strategies and interventions.
