Prison Education

Location: HMP SpringHill, Grendon Underwood, Edgcott, Aylesbury HP18 0TL

Hours: 28.75 hours per week, 52 weeks per year *Proposed working pattern would be Monday, Tuesday & Thursday all day, and Friday Morning

Salary: Up to £19,000 pro rata (£25,000 FTE - Subject to experience)

Milton Keynes College have a new vacancy for a Digital Learning Facilitator to join the education team based at HMP Springhill working 3.5 days a week. The Digital Learning Facilitator will act as an ambassador... promoting digital education to facilitate access to online learning and supporting learners to complete qualifications. In addition, you will be a point of contact for prospective and current students of The Open University. You will be responsible for administrative processes, data entry and maintenance related to the learning experience, liaising with learners and supporting their journey towards gaining higher education qualifications in a flexible way.

As a successful Digital Learning Facilitator, you will provide appropriate guidance to adult learners when selecting courses and support the education allocation process by delivering a range of ICT/paper based initial assessment and screening assessments. You will also be confident in promoting the benefits of education and be actively involved in all aspects of learner recruitment and programme marketing, working in partnership with HMPPS and other agencies to develop and deliver support services for our learners.
