Position overview
We are looking for a Program Manager with SAFe skills to join our Randstad Digital Romanian Team in a new challenging project in automotive field. In this project, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of our software programs and will be responsible and accountable for the full program life cycle ranging from program definition up to end of life. Also, within this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive change management, effectively manage internal customers, resolve complex problems, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The team consists of worldwide distributed Software-Program Managers managing all SW-Programs across the Product Lines in Automotive Processing.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure smooth and efficient execution of the program's activities, including Program Increment (PI) planning, iteration planning, and System Demos
Organizing and facilitating key ART ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART sync, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and dependencies across teams within the ART to ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
Ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders, including Product Management, System Architects, and other key roles.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the ART and the organization, fostering a culture of relentless improvement and learning.
Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics and progress towards program objectives to stakeholders and leadership.
Promoting and supporting Agile practices and principles within the ART, coaching teams to enhance their Agile maturity and performance.
Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring the ART delivers value in alignment with business goals.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
More than 6 years of automotive software experience, with good knowledge of Automotive specific development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262)
SAFe certified, preferably as Release Train Engineer or SAFe Program Consultant Proven experience in project/program manager roles as well as
Proven experience in Release Train Engineer role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading diverse multi-cultural teams towards common goals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment
Experience with project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
Excellent English communication skills (speaking & writing)
