CLOSING DATE JUNE 17th 2024The Commissioning Manager will be a key member of the Lifecycle Services Team, responsible for ensuring the safe and successful commissioning, start-up, and operation of NOV’s topside processing units globally.

Primary Objective: The primary objective of this role is to achieve optimal performance during the operation of NOV Processing Systems units, while actively promoting Lifecycle Services offerings to clients and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
• Accountable for the safe and successful commissioning, start-up, and operation of Processing Systems units.
• Manage commissioning teams, including vendors, suppliers, and NOV site service engineers.
• Control activities in accordance with procedures and checklists.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of NOV’s deliveries through planned feedback sessions from site activities towards operations, product responsibility, and the service network.
• Support the tender... and project execution teams in structuring plans for all upcoming commissioning activities.
• Manage stakeholders within the operations, engineering, and site services teams on resource needs and schedules for upcoming commissioning activities.
• Liaise directly with the client’s site team to align on commissioning activities in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Participate in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, striving to meet start-up schedules, cost, and quality.
• Extensive travel domestically and globally required.

Qualifications

Essential:
• Tertiary education in an Engineering subject (preferred Process or Mechanical).
• Extensive working knowledge within the area of commissioning or operation of processing units.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise to meet various deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable
• Working operational knowledge of topside Oil & Gas processing production equipment (Oil, Gas, Sand, Water treatment).

Skills, Training & Specialist Knowledge
• Exceptional organisational and prioritisation abilities to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective engagement with management, suppliers, clients, and internal departments on a global scale.
• Familiarity with risk/opportunity management principles.
