About this job:

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Sales Analyst & Administrator.

Job Purpose:

The Sales Analyst & Administrator will take responsibility for collecting & storing data on sales numbers, market research, logistics and other business behaviors, bring technical expertise to ensure and guarantee the quality and accuracy of collected data, then process, design and present it in ways that help the company make better decisions.

Reporting: Sales Analyst and Administrator will be reporting to Country Business Manager.

Functional Outputs/Activities per key performance area:
• Data gathering and mining from primary sales order tracking sources, assessment, and analysis of said data to turn it into meaningful information for the business.
• Using statistical tools to interpret sales performance data, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
• Demonstrating the significance of data analysis in the context of local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.
• Preparing reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data.
• Collaborating with ICT and management to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system improvements as well as develop policies for data governance where necessary.
• Creating appropriate documentation for channel performance tracking that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
• Providing quality assurance of data for regional performance tracking & provided and supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Translating business information requirements into non-technical, lay terms for areas of consumption across the business.
• Coordinates weekly and monthly sales reviews as will be directed by the line manager
• Reports primary order fulfilment rates to the line manager.
• Keeps records of all the distributors’ sales area details.
• Works on all the distributors’ and sales team claims.
• Prepare information about the distributor recruitment exercises.
• Keep records about the competitor prices at all stages in the value chain.
• Keep records of all the distributors’ routes and delivery vehicle details.
• Keeps the sales team records and reports for future reference

Financial Management
• Sensitivity analysis to understand the impact of changes in assumptions.
• Analyzing financial statements to assess company performance.

Risk and Compliance
• Understand various types of risks such as operational, financial, strategic, compliance, and reputational risks.
• Knowledge of methodologies to identify, analyze, and evaluate risks. Familiarity with tools like SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, and risk matrices.
• Ability to analyze data to identify risk patterns and compliance issues, using tools like Excel, BI software, and statistical analysis tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or any other related course.
• Possession of professional qualification in ACCA or CPA would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in database languages such as SQL, R or Python would be of added advantage.
• Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• 3 or more years of experience preferably in data analysis.
• Excellent command of spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel
• Experience with various ERP/MIS systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc is essential
• Worked in an FMCG environment.
