Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Sales Representative to join our International Sales Team!

We are currently accepting resumes for a Sales Representative to call on the Residential and Contract Interior Designer community in Madrid territory. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have a broad base of existing relationships with key influencers within the industry. This individual will grow our Madrid sales and reinforce our presence in the European market. This position will report directly to the Spain Regional Manager

What you will be doing:

• Grow sales within the Madrid sales territory.
• Promote sales by calling on existing and new commercial interior designers, architects and upscale retailers
• Proactively recognize cross selling opportunities, using product knowledge to offer similar patterns and designs to customers in order to increase revenue
• Make outbound calls to customers following sample... requests in order to close sale or recommend alternative products
• Follow ups on open quotes, and projects, including: making outbound calls to customers; following samples’ requests in order to close sale or recommend alternative products.
• Work at Exhibitions
• Hand deliver samples to top 40 accounts

Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Prospect new customers and opportunities.
• Place binders, sampling and point of sales material.
• Identify luxury and best clients for brand.

Sales Analysis:
• Provide weekly sales reports and monthly recaps
• Keep CRM updated with opportunities, client visits, project shops, tasks, contacts and clients.
• Post monthly sales recap to the Sales Teams Channel.
• Register opportunities and projects.
• Meeting with the team when required or at least 2 times per week.

Business Development
• Increase awareness of the brand in social media, working at Exhibitions.
• Proactively recognize cross selling opportunities, using product knowledge to offer similar patterns and designs to customers in order to increase revenue in Spain.

Must have:
• Ideal candidate must live within the Madrid territory.
• 3-5 years sales experience; previous experience within Wallcovering is a plus.
• Keen interest and appreciation for luxury products and interior design
• Experience selling, tracking and reporting on a multiple project pipeline
• In-depth knowledge of Sales best practices
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to align Sales strategies with business and organizational objectives
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships, effectively articulate Sales strategies and initiatives and influence key stakeholders at all levels
• Upbeat, energetic, can-do attitude
• Excellent time management and follow up skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills/knowledge of ERP/CRM systems
• Ability to work without direct oversight
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kilograms
