Griffin Resources is recruiting for an MSP Channel Sales Executive on behalf of Griffin IT.

Griffin IT is a hardware distributor specializing in solutions for MSPs, VARs, and integrators. We Provide net 90 consignment equipment, free shipping, software for inventory management, order tracking, online RMA processing with advanced replacements, custom imaging and drop shipping directly to the... customers. We provide access to equipment, pricing, and product availability not normally seen through traditional distribution. We are solving supply chain issues, increasing margins, and configuring alternative solutions to respond to today’s challenges. We are also equipped with financing and leasing options to provide flexibility for our customers.

The MSP Channel Sales Executive supports the sales and relationship management needs for multiple clients of Griffin IT across various industries and departments. The MSP Channel Sales Executive actively participates in the formulation of effective sales strategies, engaging in sourcing, identifying, nurturing, and managing partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Developing a thorough understanding of client organizations, their respective industries, work cultures, and environments is a key responsibility for this role.

The MSP Channel Sales Executive will work closely with client companies, embedding themselves as integral members of the client's sales team. They will independently manage the sales and relationship needs of their designated clients.

Starting pay: $19.23/hour plus commission

Location: Hybrid

• The preferred schedule is 9am –5pm, but we offer flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
• A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with a preference for full-time availability.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential MSP clients through various channels, including phone, email, text, social media, and CRM (Griffin Cloud CRM).
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with MSP existing and new clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact for MSP clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
• Manage a portfolio of 400 accounts, ensuring consistent communication and support.
• Adhere to and achieve pre-defined key performance indicators (KPIs) for daily account management calls, outbound prospecting calls, and monthly client outreach.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure goals are met.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with the product team to communicate client needs and influence product roadmap.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and partner interactions in the CRM system.
• Offer support to various departments, including computer tech and shipping, as required, fostering teamwork and operational efficiency across the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience working with MSPs, in channel sales, B2B, distributor realm, or directly for an MSP is required.
• Strong understanding of the MSP business model and the technology landscape.
• Be comfortable Facebook as a channel to engage with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills to engage clients in productive phone conversations, ensuring clarity and conciseness in communication.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Technical experience with PCs and laptops, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a relatable, outgoing manner.
• Highly motivated and results driven.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outgoing and relatable, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions:

Employees of Griffin IT operate in a dynamic and creative office environment. Employees must provide themselves with a designated workspace free from noise and distractions when working remotely. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and virtual tools such as web cameras and video programs. The employee must be camera ready during normal working hours. The employee may be required to work in or visit client offices and must be able to transport himself/herself to various locations.
