Senior Test Engineer - EV - Norfolk - Permanent or Contract

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test engineering, including the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Location: Norfolk

Permanent or Contract role

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Develop automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Analyse test results, identify issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and quality assurance engineers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant... industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers.
• Prepare and present detailed test reports and documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in testing methodologies and tools, incorporating new technologies into the testing process.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
