Role Overview: As a Qualified Teacher - Special Needs, you will create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the unique learning requirements of each student. Your primary goal is to inspire and empower students with special educational needs, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to students with special needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, OCD, and PDA.
• Develop and implement tailored learning plans that address the educational, physical, and social... needs of each student.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Set, monitor, and review individualised targets to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and handle confidential matters with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Foster open and effective communication with colleagues, students, and parents to build a supportive learning community.
• Continuously assess and report on student progress, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.

Your Qualifications
• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience working with children and young adults with special needs.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and its application to special needs education.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills, promoting teamwork in diverse situations.
• Show a genuine passion for teaching students with special needs and a commitment to their educational journey.
• Possess knowledge and experience in working with children and young adults with Autism and associated co-morbid conditions.
• Previous experience in a special school environment is highly desirable.
