Bank Of America Paris Broker / dealer has been created 2 years ago with now more than 350 employees across front line units and support functions, and 500 employees in Paris across all legal entities.

Within the organisation the COO transversal is in charge of managing all transversal projects and initiatives, bringing the gaps between the various departments in the entity and within the group ( Front office, legal, compliance, Risk, operations, technology ).

Project Execution: Coordination of all transversal projects and initiatives across various departments (whether front office or support functions). This means managing the governance and escalation, steering committee, accountability on timeline and quality of deliverables. Focus is before... all on (i) regulatory deliverables due in the coming years (ECB supervision, ESG and climate change,) (ii) transversal business development initiatives and (iii) Paris CEO and France country exec. priorities implementation.

Executive Support & Governance Oversight: Briefing materials, notes and tracking of activities and actions across the bank to provide best-in-class management information for all internal and external engagement; tracking and closing out of key projects and audit issues etc

Governance Oversight:
Developing and maintaining to a high level a robust local governance framework to provide effective oversight of the entity and its activities, and to ensure adherence to firms Risk Framework and Subsidiary Governance policies:
• ESG and Climate change : coordinate locally the implementation of the regulation related to ESG& climate change, represent the entity to regional / central forum, develop MI for local management.

Regulatory Engagement: Regular interaction with regulators either aligned to periodic deliverables, exams, continuous assessment

Business /Country Strategy & Risk : To local business leaders to support on all aspects of 'responsible growth' from 1st line perspective, execution on strategic projects and resolution of issues.

Conduct and Culture: Represent COO in senior management meetings, in front of external stakeholders and within the bank; key sponsor of ESG, D&I initiatives and other activities to promote and strengthen culture and improve the working environment in the France and EU.

Management : supervision / coordination of a team of 2 associates and a VP.

The Team
The COO transversal team is covering all transversal initiatives and topics related to the Paris entity or regional initiatives with a French focus
