JOB SUMMARY

Functions as the main leader of the MSB property overseeing all aspects of operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation.

Responsible for implementing the brand service strategy to meet or exceed guest expectations and increase profit and market share.

Leads the team in developing property-wide strategies, leveraging Marriott International sales engines, and initiating sales activities.

Builds owner loyalty through proactive communication, managing expectations, and delivering business results.

Actively engages with the local community and establishes strong relationships.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
• 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 6 years of experience.
• OR
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4... years of experience.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Business Strategy Development and Execution
• Monitors industry trends and competition.
• Develops business plans to enhance customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
• Ensures alignment with Marriott brand strategies.
• Translates global strategic plans into actionable property plans.

Managing Property Operations and Department Budgets
• Oversees service programs and provides feedback to ensure standards are met.
• Manages labor flow, prepares for audits, reviews guest satisfaction, and executes capital improvements.

Managing and Sustaining Sales and Marketing Strategy
• Collaborates with sales teams, develops sales strategies, and identifies revenue opportunities.
• Utilizes e-tools, coaches staff on selling strategies, and drives sales events.

Managing Profitability
• Controls costs, analyzes performance data, updates profit forecasts, and supports revenue goals.

Maintaining Revenue Management Goals
• Engages with revenue management office and balances inventory for maximum efficiency.

Managing Relationships with Property Stakeholders
• Keeps brand leadership and stakeholders updated on property performance, prepares reports, and conducts business reviews.

Managing and Conducting Human Resource activities
• Leads employees through transitions, ensures performance expectations are clear, and provides training opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities
• Manages email and paper mail, participates in conference calls, and prepares relevant reports for visits.
