Position: Finance Manager (Part Time)
• * Synthesis x Finance Manager**:
This is a part-time role with potential to convert to full-time
• * Why Synthesis?**:
Rooted in culture, tested in data science, Synthesis is known for delivering exceptional data products and consultancy services which unravel human and consumer stories, and inspire our clients with the confidence to act. The world’s most successful brands in fashion, beauty, content and travel are our partners.

We are at the forefront of a shift towards leveraging open data to develop rich, honest, human insight. The marketing and research industry has for too long relied on ‘question-response’ approach to understanding changes in behaviour. We prioritise layering behavioural, performative, search and sales data to highlight the discrepancies between what people say they do and what they _actually _do. We see a $40 billion industry that has failed to innovate for too long and we are just getting started.
• * The Role**:
This... is a part-time role with potential to convert to full-time. This role imagines 4 days per month, of which 50% should be in the office to meet with Leadership.

In each instance, your work will guide strategic decision-making.

Even if you are not an expert in every aspect of finance, you have experience in problem solving and providing frameworks for decision making under uncertainty.

• * About You.**:

- Recognised accounting qualification
- 5+ years experience in Finance role, with analytical responsibilities including, but not limited to FP&A, Business Analyst, Pricing Analyst or Commercial Analyst role
- High aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving.

Ability to create frameworks for decision making under uncertain conditions
