We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage the people function at Northside Partnership. This senior role is critical in aligning HR strategies with our organisational objectives, culture, and Advantaged Thinking framework.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, and procedures in line with our overall organisational strategy.

· Assist the management team in building an empowering workplace through effective feedback, coaching, and support.

· Develop and review policies, procedures, and work practices to ensure alignment with Northside Partnership’s Advantaged Thinking Framework.

· Identify staff training needs and organise training sessions, focusing on areas such as diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and skill development.

· Chair the Health and Safety Committee to ensure a safe working... environment.

· Develop and deliver HR workshops to staff and community organisations within our catchment area to update them on emerging legislation and trends.

· Provide support and advice on employee relations to managers and local community organisations on an ad hoc basis.

· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, posting job ads, interviewing candidates, and hiring.

· Design and implement engaging and collaborative initiatives to attract, retain, and develop staff capabilities.

· Foster a culture of openness to change and innovation, supporting collaboration, respect, and accountability.

The Person:

· Holds relevant HR qualifications (Degree or higher) with extensive experience as a Senior HR professional.

· Has a deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.

· Approachable, non-judgemental, and passionate about supporting the mission and values of the community sector.

· Listens actively to understand, fostering a positive work environment.

· Possesses the courage to challenge leaders positively for better decisions.

· Proficient with HR systems and processes, demonstrating strong digital skills.

· Excellent report writing, analysis and problem-solving.

· Demonstrates a commitment to the ethos and values of Northside Partnership (refer to: refer to: http://northsidepartnership.ie/about-us).

Desirable:

· Experience in the community and/or not-for-profit sectors.

· Membership of the CIPD.

· Diploma in executive coaching/mediation or similar area

Salary:

· NSP Senior Manager Scale commence between Point 1, €62,011 and Point 3, €64,906 depending on experience.
