Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Executive for Travel & Tourism located in Islamabad. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our Hajj and Umrah... travel packages, building and maintaining customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets. You will also handle booking arrangements, answer inquiries, and provide travel information to customers.

You will work to individual and departmental targets within a busy office environment Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 6pm (EST)

Receiving a mountain of warm leads from customers looking to book their dream trips. Handling these calls and delivering world class customer service to convert leads into sales.

Building relationships with customers and understanding their needs, relate back and close the deal.

Achieving and exceeding company, team and individual objectives relating to sales targets, productivity, product knowledge and attendance/punctuality.

Maintaining accurate information on client records, company products, commercial campaigns, and ancillary services.

Use social media to promote offers, generating customer engagement and sales leads.

Participating in promotional events and activities to increase exposure of the company.

Willingness to participate and deliver training appropriate to own development.

Process bookings in a timely and friendly manner for appointments, phone calls, and client follow up.

Up sells preferred vendors, insurance, and financial services.

Research destinations, hotels, airfare options, site seeing, and additional trip information to best meet the client’s needs and expectations.

Processes airfare, hotels, and ground transportation via Sabre and Sabre GDS’s.

Processing travel requests for deposits and payments.

Creating and processing accurate invoices using Sabre, World span, and back-office systems.

Processes final documents which may include itineraries, visas, inoculations, air and transportation tickets, and final payments.


Strong sales and negotiation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, specifically Hajj and Umrah

Ability to build and maintain customer relationships

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in relevant GDS knowledge like Galileo, Sabre & Specially Amadeus

Fluency in English

Previous experience in sales in the travel industry is compulsory

High school diploma or equivalent
Islamabad Pakistan
